Jump Company USA jump rope team has been based at the Jefferson Elementary Center since it's establishment in 2006. Made up of boys and girls ages 7 to 24, Jump Company is recognized as one of the top rope skipping teams worldwide. Our jumpers compete at Local, Regional, National, and World Tournaments. Jump Company works to promote the sport of Jump Rope by performing at School Assemblies, Professional Events, Civic Organizations and College Venues. Jump Company USA is a member of USA Jump Rope (USAJR) and Athletes for a Better World.
Coach Rochelle Boggs began her coaching career in jump rope in 1997 with the River Valley Skippers (RVS). Upon the retirement of RVS in 2006 she began coaching Jump Company USA and continues to serve as the team's head coach. She has been a member of AAU jump rope along with USA Jump Rope (USAJR) for 14 years and served as a member of the USA Jump Rope Board of Directors, the governing body for the sport of jump rope in the United States. She has served on various national committees including the Governance committee, the USAJR All-Stars Committee and the USAJR Canady Eduational Fund where she was a part of the development and awarding of the first ever Educational Fund for Jump Rope through the Greater Houston Area Foundation. Coach Boggs is certified by USAJR as a Jump Rope Judge Facilitator and has judged at the local, regional, national and international level. She recently presented at the World Jump Rope Championship Coaches Workshop in Washington D.C. on Jumper Motivation. Coach Boggs hold a Bachlors of Science Degree in Nurisng from Ohio University and a Masters in Science Degree from the University of Maryland as a Nurse Practitioner.
Coach Susan Armstrong began her coaching career in jump rope in 2003 with the River Valley Skippers (RVS). Upon the retirement of RVS in 2006 she began coaching Jump Company USA where she continues to serve youth. She is a long time member of AAU sports and USA Jump Rope. Coach Armstrong is a certified jump rope judge and has judged at local, regional, national and international levels. She is a tutor for the Kids Hope Program through the Vienna Baptist Church at Vienna Elementary School. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Alderson-Broaddus College and a Masters in Reading from West Virginia University. Susan had been in charge of the organization and implementation of the 4th and 5th Grade West Virginia State Baptist Church Camp for the past 13 years.

Jump Company USA is active in the
Mid-Ohio Valley community year-round.
Jump Company USA is a non profit, all volunteer organization where the majority of expenses for our jumpers is paid for by their families. Some funds are raised through performances, and donations. Jumpers provide hundreds of volunteer hours to our community by helping with projects such as: YMCA Learn to Jump Clinics, Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg Jump Clinics, Salvation Army Kettle Collection, Parkersburg Human Society Fund Drive Project, Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart Shows, Artsbridge Kids Day , and the Wood County Society Telethon and Camp Echo.
